De Invasie in de Varkensbaai op Cuba is de mislukte invasie in Cuba door Cubaanse ballingen in april 1961, gesteund door de Amerikaanse CIA. De invasie had het doel het communistische bewind onder Fidel Castro omver te werpen. De aanval werd echter afgeslagen en Cuba bleef communistisch.

Dit CIA-geschiedenis van de Varkensbaai operatie in 1961, oorspronkelijk als top secret aangemerkt, is gebaseerd op tientallen interviews met sleutelfiguren, agenten en ambtenaren en honderden CIA-documenten. De vier delen bevatten informatie die niet eerder uitgebracht is en bestaat uit (I) Air Operations, march 1960 to 1961; (II) Participation in the Conduct of Foreign Policy 92; (III) Evolution of CIA's Anti-Castro Policies, 1951-January 1961; en (IV) The Taylor Committee Investigation of the Bay of Pigs.
